Dr. Ofer Zemel, Criminologist, holds a Ph.D and M.A. in criminology from Bar-Ilan University. She is a Lecturer in Haifa University at the department of criminology, and in Eshkol Police Officers program teaching Introduction to Criminology, Organized Crime, Youth Delinquency and Domestic Violence, and a lecturer at the Department of Criminology and law enforcement in Beit-Berl College- criminology: research and theory, juvenile delinquency and crime in Israel. 2004-2010 served as Organizational Coordinator, at the Department of Behavioral Sciences, Emek-Izreel College, Working in coordination with rehabilitative and correctional systems and populations at risk in the community and in the criminal justice system. As part of her academic research activities, Ofer participated in qualitative research in various fields, such as Program carried out by the Social Work Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in Beit Levinstein and Akko and at Hermon Prison in the field of domestic violence.
